It's Under Your Feet

This powerful message centers on Romans 16:20, where we discover that the God of peace will soon crush Satan under our feet. The sermon unpacks a profound truth: where we stand determines who we are and what we can stand against. Throughout Scripture, feet represent more than just mobility—they symbolize authority, possession, and direction. From Joshua being told that every place his feet touched would be given to him, to Jesus washing the disciples' feet before giving them their assignment, we see that our spiritual position matters more than our physical condition. Even Mephibosheth, who had broken feet and couldn't walk into battle, lived in authority simply because of his placement at the king's table. The message challenges us to examine what we're walking with and who we're walking alongside, because spirits transfer, attitudes rub off, and what we tolerate eventually defines us. Paul instructs us to mark and avoid divisive people—not out of rudeness, but out of wisdom, understanding that we cannot walk with divisive people and expect to maintain a unified spirit. The most liberating truth is that our victory isn't something we're waiting for—it's already in motion. God started the engine in Genesis 3:15 when He promised the serpent's head would be crushed, and every moment since has been building momentum toward our breakthrough. We're not fighting for victory; we're standing in the victory Christ already won at the cross.
